| Personal History | Varja was born to a prostitute in the slums of the First City. Her mother hated her daughter and named her veqlargh or demon. Her childhood was rough. Her mother was rarely present and when she was physically and verbally abused the child. veqlargh would often run with the gangs, easily getting into trouble and breaking laws. Even in the gangs, they would beat her and sexually abuse her. When veqlargh was 15, a blood feud broke out in the Empire. She was recruited into House QoluS and served as a marine on board the IKS boj. House QoluS fought a low intensity war with House daq'r for nearly two years. veqlargh gained a reputation as a blood thirsty fighter. She would often take heads and kill prisoners. In one fight she killed Rolvoq, eldest son of the ruler of House Dak'r. Finally, war with the Federation saw an end to the feud. As part of the brokered peace, any warrior that fought for the houses would either have to disarm and return to civilian life or join the KDF. veqlargh had nothing to return to so decided to took an enlistment. |
